Ruventa is an event marketplace platform that connects people planning celebrations with verified vendors and service providers across Egypt. Our website is ruventa.app.

2 What Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the platform properly. This includes:

• Information you give us directly — your name, email address, phone number, and any message you send through the contact form or vendor signup.
• Account information — if you create an account as a planner or vendor, we store your login credentials (email and encrypted password) and your profile details.
• Vendor listing content — photos, service descriptions, pricing, and portfolio content that vendors upload to their listings.
• Usage data — pages you visit, how long you stay, what you search for, and which listings you view. This helps us improve the platform.
• Device & technical data — your browser type, device type, IP address, and general location (city-level). We do not collect precise GPS location.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Run the Ruventa platform and show you relevant vendor listings
• Create and manage your account (planner or vendor)
• Connect event planners with vendors based on their search
• Send you important updates about your account or listings
• Respond to your messages and support requests
• Improve and fix the platform based on how it's being used
• Detect and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that affects you in a significant way.

4 Content You Post

If you are a vendor, the content you publish on Ruventa (photos, service descriptions, prices, reviews) is visible to the public by default. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you upload, including photos and branding.

If you are a customer, any reviews or ratings you submit may be publicly shown on a vendor's listing page alongside your first name. We will not display your full name, email, or phone number publicly.

5 Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it in these specific situations:

• With vendors — when you contact a vendor through Ruventa, your name and message are shared with that vendor so they can respond.
• With service providers — we use trusted third-party tools (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf. They are not allowed to use your data for their own purposes.
• If required by law — we may share information if required by Egyptian law or a valid legal request.

6 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link)
• Ask us questions about how your data is used
